Taking Off

Visiting the blog site of my friend Jennie, I saw that she has now a video featured on it, courtesy of VideoCodeZones. After a few tries, I finally learned how to install one on my own. So now, I have a music video here on my blog site! And, of course, my video for the month is a song from my most favorite band.

My friends and other readers of my blog, your stay here is now enhanced with music; add to that the sincerity of my ideas, may you also experience taking off with me!

"Taking Off" is my favorite track from The Cure's latest album, The Cure (2004).

Tomorrow I can start again
With back to earth and carry on
The same as I did yesterday
Yeah I'll pick it up once more
And morning I'll be onto it
From square one start
And push it for a bit
Like I do every day...
I'll get it down for sure

But tonight I climb with you
Tonight
So high with you
Tonight
I shine with you
Tonight
Oh I'm so alive with you

Tomorrow I'll begin again
With heavy head to hold it
As I do it all like yesterday
Yeah I'll break it out again
And morning I'll be there in time
For clock back move
And make it for a while
To get through every day...
I'll roll it out the same

But tonight I climb with you
Tonight
So high with you
Tonight
I shine with you
Tonight I'm so alive...

With you it's always here and never there
With you it's always here and never where
With you it's always here and never how
With you it's always here and always now

Yeah tomorrow I will start again
With back to earth and carry on
The same as I did yesterday
Yeah I'll pick it up once more
And morning I'll be onto it
From square one start and "bit a for it push"

Like I do every day...
I'll get it down for sure

But tonight I climb with you
Tonight
So high with you
Tonight I shine with you
Tonight

Great choice! I don't know if you heard about Perry Bamonte and Roger O'Donnell leaving the band, but I'm really disappointed. Oh well, we all know that there is no Cure if there is no Robert Smith... he is all that matters ^_^
