Back at the house, I immediately checked in for the flight through the WestJet Web site; and then I printed out copies of our boarding passes before finally disassembling my PC so I could now box it along with the remaining stuff. I then labeled our luggage: four check-in boxes and two carry-on bags, all of which containing mostly books, CDs, shoes, and clothes.

Around 10:30, friends Janet and Dickson came over to bid us goodbye. They surprised me and Grandfather by giving each of us a personalized t-shirt.
